Eight people from Bonaire, together with Greenpeace Netherlands, are suing the Dutch State. Bonaire is one of the Dutch municipalities hit hardest by climate change. They argue that their human rights are being violated because the State is doing far too little to protect the inhabitants of the special Dutch municipality from the effects of climate change.
